Mimi Faust Is Used by Aftermath to Malign her Deceased Mother, Caretaker Says

As friend and caretaker of Mimi’s mother during months of cancer treatment, Valerie remembers Mimi visiting her mother once before she passed away.

TRANSCRIPT:

I was responsible for Mimi’s mother’s care, Olaiya, when she was sick with cancer, and I came with her [to] the City of Hope in Duarte [California], for her treatment in May 2003, and was there till the end with her when she passed away.

During the whole time, I remember only about one time when Mimi came to visit her, which, I think Olaiya, who cared a lot for her daughter, would have loved to have her come more to visit. But this is what happened.

I was actually surprised that Mimi didn’t come to visit her more often. Because I know how much Olaiya liked Mimi and loved Mimi as her daughter. And I know—I mean, I went through six months of gruesome treatment with Olaiya. It was a very difficult time for her and I know she would have loved to see her daughter more. Isn’t that odd that someone wouldn’t come to visit her mother more often when she was so sick?

I wonder if Mimi really cared about her mother, truly, you know? Which was not the feeling Olaiya had for Mimi—she loved Mimi.

I guess Leah Remini will use anything to attack the Church. And I can only think she used Mimi on this. I don’t think the original idea is Mimi’s, honestly, because she knows how much her mother loved her. I’m sure she does. She wouldn’t do that if her mother was still here.
