Mark Rathbun Reveals Aftermath Fabrication About Sexual Abuse
Mark Rathbun, from firsthand knowledge in the Church of Scientology, reveals how Leah Remini and Mike Rinder “talk out of both sides of their mouths” on their fabrication about sexual abuse.
TRANSCRIPT:
To put it in context, I was involved in those [Church of Scientology] external networks, oversight of the Office of Special Affairs network, in which Mike Rinder worked, for 22 years. I’ve wracked my brain, I have looked at, you know—sort of reconstructed the general time track, I’ve written three books on the subject of Scientology and my experience—I can’t think of a single instance, not a single instance, where I was asked to or was involved in covering up “a sexual abuse case.” Just didn’t happen.
And further, you know, these guys talk out of both sides of their mouths, because on the one hand they are saying, “God, Scientology has got these standards that are so high in terms of personal conduct that Leah Remini is claiming that she was sent away for rehabilitation because she was caught heavy petting with a guy,” right, “kissing and making out,” right. And—right.
And yet on the other hand, they’re saying that they’re [the Church] condoning this loose and immoral sexual environment, okay. But I am telling you, in 22 years, never was aware of a case.
