TRANSCRIPT:
They’ve spent time in Season 1 and in Season 2 [of Aftermath ] to try to paint a picture of Scientology being lawless, and having no respect for the law, and being a “criminal organization” by way of this program called “Snow White.” But then they’ve had people like Tony Ortega or Mike Rinder riff about it, right, and others, saying that it authorized all this illegal activity and that sort of thing.
And of course, well, I’ll let Mike Rinder speak to that, okay: “And you were right about Snow White”—this alleged program—“I have defended Snow White for decades. If you read the actual documents, there is nothing strange and certainly nothing subversive about them.” End of quote.
Those are the very documents he’s throwing up on the screen with a chyron [card] while people are riffing about how it authorizes illegal acts and a number of other things that are inaccurate. The document is a simple program of false report correction through Freedom of Information Act actions to be brought in court, okay, to uncover the false reports about L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology. Which Mike Rinder clearly is thoroughly aware of, as he published “there’s nothing subversive about it,” okay.
Again, this is not a statement from when he was in the Church of Scientology, this is a statement that he published many years after he left the Church of Scientology and was being paid exclusively, you know, his exclusive living that he was making was for making statements adverse to Scientology.
