This is Mike Rinder: “The IRS determined that Scientology is a religious charitable organization”—okay, I got to—I mean, this guy, it just is lie upon lie upon misrepresentation upon deception—“in spite of the U.S. court decision saying these are not charitable, the IRS determined Scientology is a religious, charitable organization.”
The U.S. Supreme Court decision on the charitable donations began by upholding the stipulation that Scientology is a bona fide religion, okay.
And he says, “Despite that, the IRS determined….” Listen man, if the guy would just watch my videos. I’ve been through it—but they have and it doesn’t matter—I’ve been through this. I broke it down on the Going Clear series. I broke it down in this series, right.
And they just bull-headedly just say the same lies over and over again. I broke it down. This is a complete and utter lie. The IRS didn’t determine anything. The courts of the United States determined that Scientology is a religion and the IRS was bound to follow that, okay. That’s what happened. The IRS didn’t make that determination.
And he says, “…because those two things don’t square.” Well, of course they don’t because you’re just making shit up that doesn’t square—but the facts square.
The U.S. Supreme Court did not determine that Scientology wasn’t a religion, and the IRS didn’t determine that Scientology was a religion. As a matter of fact, it was the other way around. The IRS determined Scientology is not a religion in 1962 or ’58 or something. In 1967, the U.S. Federal District Court in Hawaii said, “You’re wrong, under the law and the facts.” And every court since has subsequently upheld it. And there’s been dozens of them, including the United States Supreme Court. So Mike Rinder is literally just blowing it out his ass to please Princess Leah and collect his check.
