Mark Rathbun Dismantles Mike Rinder’s Claims of “Nefarious” Activities
Mark Rathbun exposes how Leah Remini and Mike Rinder try to paint a false picture of nefarious activities, while Rinder—who would have been directing such alleged activities in the Church—never cops to a single one.
TRANSCRIPT:
So, they bring on Janet Reitman, this woman who wrote a book and a Rolling Stone article, right. And they have this dark music and Leah [Remini] says, cuts her off and says, “Maybe you don’t know, but they have these nefarious policies,” right. Maybe she “doesn’t know”—she [Reitman] wrote a book, what, six years ago that says Scientology has all these dark policies and all this stuff. But they edit it with this dark music like Leah’s going to inform her what’s going on. And Mike [Rinder] says, “Yeah, they looked into you.”
Now, even Leah Remini, who says, “Scientology’s evil and we’re good; we can’t possibly do anything but good and Scientology can’t possibly do anything but evil,” says to Mike Rinder, “They? Mike you were supposed to be the head of this entire operation.” Bookmark that because it just continuously comes up. It came up throughout Season 1 [of Aftermath ], and it continues through this too.
Mike Rinder has yet to cop to a single nefarious thing that he ever did, ordered or was involved in. And yet, he can sit there and make big bucks doing this show talking about how it all happens in the subjunctive: would, could, if.
